Dessert Time @ Salon Du Chocolat, Publika

Monday blue is coming so we decided to have some sweet sweet dessert to compensate our hard work on last week & as an encouragement for coming week.

Previously I do saw some blog posted the dessert from Salon Du Chocolat & the artwork do actually attracted me so I had told my dear I must go for it! And this week finally we have chance to go....wakaka!

Actually, we always get lost in Publika whenever we go there but this time very lucky that we are able to find the shop directly once we go up by escalator. You could see the place was clouded with a lot of people & the staff was super friendly & get us a seat in just a moment.

Lot of choice from their menu and we don't know which to choose... (@.@)

We do take quite some time to decide our order and the girl had come for us few time but we still undecided yet....finally, below is our choice:

Chocolate Crepe (RM14.90)
The crepe was smooth and their chocolate wasn't over sweet. It just nice and sweet enough for us.
As the potion was quite big hence I do suggest to share it between 2-3 persons. My dear and me seriously get full by this plate! =.=''

Fruits on Stick (4pcs - RM9.50)
For fruits on stick, you could choose between strawberry, banana, kiwi & pineapple and we had chosen strawberry which I feel that it would be super match to eat with chocolate!
You might get confused with below photo which it shown 5pcs of fruits instead of 4pcs. Haha...actually we also don't know why, maybe because some of the strawberry was in smaller size. =P

Molten Cake with Ice Cream (RM13.90)
Hmmm....quite disappointed with this dessert as it seem like over cooked which most of the part had become cake instead of lava liquid. Oh ya, the ice cream suppose to be vanilla flavor but due to out of order hence they changed it to chocolate flavor but sadly the ice cream didn't give much surprise as it doesn't taste rich with the chocolate taste.

Dear had ordered Strawberry tea & I had ordered Rose Tea. It is advised to order tea instead of milk shake as you will feel full after eating all the chocolate dessert and ice tea will definitely good for digestion. 

This place is perfect for chocolate lover & you will feel extra sweet if you having it together with your love one.

Breakfast @ Tom, Dick & Harry’s Live, Pavillion

It's a raining Saturday...

Since we didn't plan to visit any restaurant today hence we decide to have a walk @ Pavilion and see is there any place for us to have our breakfast.

After a walk, we decided to give a try on Tom, Dick & Harry's Live which is a non halal restaurant.

Tom, Dick  & Harry's Live is introducing their 2014 new breakfast item so we had decided to be their guinea pig..haha

Each breakfast set come with coffee or tea and a glass of cold orange juice. The coffee smell good for me but dear said it still taste bitter after add sugar and milk. Haha...maybe he didn't add enough sugar! =P 

Dear had order their Scrambling Oil Fried Ghost (RM20) which have "oil fried ghost", scramble egg, grilled tomato and mushroom. At first, we didn't notice the breakfast name and wonder what is the chinese pastry mentioned in their description. Once the food is served, then only we realize their name! 油炸鬼 = oil fried ghost....what a direct translate....haha!

I have order their breakfast for champs (RM20) which come with bread, sausage, bacon, grilled tomato, mushroom & scramble egg. The bacon is too salted from me but it taste perfect if you eat together with the bread.

Their environment is surrounding with music, you could enjoy it together with your drink after the breakfast. Surprisingly...the price showed in menu is nett price after tax. Seldom have restaurant will do it in this way & it have make us feel worth to enjoy our breakfast here. Great psychology effect to customer....haha!

Valentine 2014 @ Alexis, The Gardens

After 3 months from the Valentine's Celebration, finally I posted this out....such a lazy person!!! hahaha...

This year we had our Valentine's dinner @ Alexis, The Gardens.
Alexis do have their special Valentine's menu and each table had decorated with rose & candle.....Romantic & Wonderful!

As usual, dear had order beer when we had western food & I had order a glass of chocolate milk shake.

Here go our main dish.....!
Slow braised lamb shank with spring vegetable & a light herb mash and roasted chicken sandwich.

The lamb was cooked very well, smooth & taste great together with the wine smell!

For the roasted chicken sandwich...it taste good if you like tough bread as the bread was too tough for us.

Also not to forget on the Valentine's gift.........(So sorry to my dear as I didn't prepare anything for him...haha)

Birthday Celebration @ Thirty8, Grand Hyatt Hotel KL

Throw back on my Birthday Celebration 2103.....
Dear had arranged a romantic dinner for my birthday @ Thirty8, Grand Hyatt Hotel KL.
We enjoyed our dinner with wonderful KLCC view for the first time!

After we placed our order, they did served us with their appetizer even though we didn't order any. They just serve it to us directly & it is free of charge. =P
Both of us would like to save our stomach for the food that we had ordered hence we only eat a bit for the appetizer. 

Dear had ordered a glass of wine & I had ordered the "Good Energy Juice" which consist of beetroot, baby spinach, carrot, red apple & dill. Here is the drink photo together with KLCC view.

Finally....here is our main dish! 
As it had more than half year ago so I also had forgot what the dish called....haha....sorry =P
But I still remember the spaghetti taste great and the grilled chicken texture doesn't fell dry & taste great! 

Oh ya, they do have a open kitchen which you could see how the chef cook. A new experience...haha^^

Last but not least....birthday cake time!
I told dear that I want to try for their signature cake but never thought he will make this as a surprise.
The staff sang the birthday song while bringing the cake to us....really **shy shy**!!!!
As you can see on the photo, they poured in the hot caramel in front of us & you could see how the caramel melted in directly....mmmm....yummy! 

Thanks dear for the arrangement & awaiting for his surprise this year....wakakaka!!!!!

Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant @ Ampang

Is Sunday night...!
Today we decided to pay another visit to Uncle Jang but with different branch....^^
The first visit was @ Puchong branch & personally we love Ampang branch more...=P

When we arrived the shop & we was shocked with lot of people standing outside & waiting for their turn.
As we had droved there hence we decided to wait for it....
Guess what...most of the restaurant will give their guest with a paper for their number but Uncle Jang was very special...... 

Both of us laugh when saw this & it had make the night bright before the dinner start.

Okies...back to the topic! After few minute waited...finally is our turn! 

We start by choose how many portion we would like to have & whether to have all portion in normal, spicy or mix. Due to the previous experience, this time we don't dare to order any spicy portion anymore!!!!!

Both of us love spicy food SO MUCH however we really can't stand with the spicy 1:1 (1 normal & 1 spicy). Warning: Do not order spicy portion if you can't stand with hot spicy!

You might wonder why there have chilli paste as I had mentioned in above that we don't order any spicy portion. This is because even though we order normal portion, it will still have the spicy taste just not as strong if you mix with spicy portion.

No worry if you don't know how to cook it as the staff there will help to cook for it & tell you when it was ready to eat. ^^ 

We do order extra side dish with Ramen(RM6/portion) & various mushroom(RM8). Most of the people like to order steam rice to make it fried rice at the end of the dinner however both of us still love their ramen more...haha! Oh ya, forgot to mentioned their price for the chicken portion....Normal(RM19) & Spicy(RM22).

The reason why we love Ampang branch more is the staff here cooked it more well & plus....the chicken given per portion is slightly bigger...hahaha! 

Same like others Korean restaurant, they also served with few side dish.

Overall, we was happy to have our dinner here & definitely will come back again!
